Its been a loooong while since I posted anything here.
so whats wrong with the headline? Do I hate Indians? Yes. Am I prejudiced against Indians? Yes. Do I have Indian friends? Yes. Am I ashamed that I hate Indians? Yes.
Then, Why? Why do I hate Indians? The list could go on and on. But really, I do not know why I hate Indians. Actually I don’t really hate Indians, I just don’t like them as much as Chinese. And I don’t like Chinese as much as Malays.This, I blame the government. Yes, They taught me to hate the other races and it saddens me and I regret that I feel the way I feel. I am aware of my prejudice and I do make an effort to change.
So, lets take a look at what happened today. I am at work and blogging illegally from work. This is because I am angry and sad.
I SUPPORT the Hindraf RALLY I support them because We all have a RIGHT to Voice our Concerns. I don’t support 100% what they are fighting for but I understand where they are coming from.
Lets face it, the Indians are pretty marginalized and there is a reason for that. I believe that the shackles of culture and tradition can be broken, but we need to be in the right environment. Anyhow, FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!! go guys! You have my admiration. I am seething with anger too. How I wish I could go down there and join you guys.

It is sad to read your view and opinion about how you hate a person because the persons ethnicity and race. It goes to show how shallow and immature people like you are inclusive of this pembebel.
However, if one were to explore hypothetical example, if ever we are at war with e.g. Singapore or Thailand etc.. then this so called Indians you label them by are the people you would want to count on to protect your loved ones. Then you are willing to forgo your personal dislikes as it conveniently meets your needs.
I have several friends of my who are Muslim and are from the old school of thought. We have been minggling and having families over for many many years and never referred to each other by ethnicity or race always as friends. It is your new generation that has forgotten because of the support and comfort the government has given people like you. It would be good to see how people like you would survive in a real would without government support and assistance and then to explore your opinions about how you like people based on ethinicity or race.

Not to generalize but, majority of Indians I’ve seen are of a typical character. Kind of character that normal people wouldnt want to associate with.I’ve seen very good people coming from India and at the same time have problems dealing with them.Some of my very good Friends are Indians. So, plz be assured that its not the whole Indians in general I’m referring to. However, Its really somthing about the rest that dont make them popular in the international community. If you’re an Indian reading this, you know what m talking about right?
Believe me, it doesnt give me an inch of pleasure writing this but allow me to say that majority of the so called “Educated Indians” are nothing but Hypocrites. Its just the handful that are good & reasonable. Althought they are “Educated, they still believe in Dowry; have no sense of table manners; or manners in general; ” besides, refuse to cooperate with people unless therez somthing beneficial for them too! The list is endless as people who’ve associated with them know better..
Believe me, its nothing to be offended about. You only need to teach your fellow indians essential etics and manners while dealing with people in general (non-indians). Its because of these individual that India gets a bad name… cause rest is great,.. Food, culture, growing economy, business brains.

My Indian collegue comments that my hairstyle (short with light spikes) is not appropriate for office. Further he has no regard when talking to me. Is blunt when speaking with me although he’s younger in age(although he’s polite with people with more authority). All these, when he himself is smelly, makes funny noises at works like burping; pulling snort in his nose; singing/humming bollywood tunes;wears the same clothes for as long as I can remember; pointless arguring at all wrong times; at office!!. Wish he’d do all these in his own Country not here before me!!…. gets me mad everytime I have to see his face first thing in the morninig.

I understand where you are coming from.. but whilst I understand it, I do not agree with it. I personally wouldn’t use such a strong a word as “hate” but for the sake of the bigger picture, I’ll use it.
This post needs to be re-titled.. instead of “I Hate Indians”, it should be something like “I Hate People Who Are.. ” and then list the characteristics that has got you annoyed.. sure, you may have encountered these characteristics in a particular group of people – but you don’t hate them because they are Indian.. you would hate anyone who had these negative traits – no matter their race / religion / nationality.
Stereotyping hurts you and it hurts your relationship with others. It also creates a vicious “self-fulfilling prophecy” as you expect a person to act a certain way – and when / if he does so – even in the most “minimal” way, your mind immediately takes it as a confirmation. But if you did not have such a mindset, that same behaviour exhibited may not have triggered any alarm bells.
All of us want people to judge us for who we are instead of our race / religion / nationality. Similarly, we should extend the same courtesy to others.
Racism can be easily banished when we realise what it is we have an issue with.. instead of disliking groups of people we have never met – just because of their skin color.

i dont “hate” indians.. i “dislike” indians.. i have lots of close indian friends.. so obviously, i dont hate each and every indian.. it’s usually indian FOBs that i dont get along with.. why? well.. i find indians very arrogant.. shallow.. so up themselves.. i mean it’s good to have pride in what we do.. but indians have too much in them.. i have to agree with SADPERSON.. indians dont respect other culture.. i try to get along with them.. i used to have a very close friend.. she was ok at first.. we really got along good.. later on.. she started to kinda look down on me.. and other people.. she looks down on people who havent finished college.. or don’t have a good job… and i found that really disrespectful..
also.. when i visited singapore.. we were watchin this dolphin show.. everyone were sitting down.. all set up for the show.. suddenly.. these bunch of indians just stood in front of where we were sitting.. and blocked our views.. we waited for them to move.. but nah-uh.. never happend.. maybe they’re just insensitive? or naive? i dont really know.. and alot of times.. indians have pushed me around in singapore.. or hit me with their elbow or sumthin.. and dont even say sorry!!! again.. i just wna clarify that not all indians are like that.. and i kno that this sounds really racist.. and like what KRISTY said above.. we should just say “i hate people who are…” instead of i hate indians.. but for some reason… indians just have this common personality that people don’t understand maybe? … i don’t know..

It really hurts! when people hate each other…its not about the race its an individual experience. Abstraction on the basis of petty experiences that you personally had makes no sense at all. Good, bad, annoying, irritating…all kind of people exist in every corner of the world and only their proportion matters.
Indian population is enormous and it has suffered time and again with many conflicts and still fighting its way out of issues that hounded her for many years now. There people here who are good and bad. I think same is true with any other country. Indians do not mix well….I think because they are apprehensive of the racist insult they might have to face somewhere…sometime. They have high sense of self-esteem. Their culture is too ancient and to diverse to change it overnight.
If it is the stereotype that makes you hate Indian. Then why stereotype them as “Indian”, stereotype them by nature or personality trait and not by race. It depends on the way you see at it.
With an open heart if you shed your pride and prejudice you may see the bitterness dissolve like it never existed.
Finally, the way you say that “I Hate Indians”. I see it as “You Hate Me”.

Why hate them? Why WOULDN’T you?
Reaon 1) They stink!
Do they BATHE in curry? Do they use it as deodorant? It just seems to leak out of their pores. The country is a slum of over a billion people. You would think that out of those billion people, they would come up with at least ONE other spice. “I think this dish needs a little more spice. Maybe a little pepper? NO! More curry! How about a pich of salt? NO! MORE CURRY!!!” (At this point I would go into wht general ugliness (and hariness) of Indian women, but I want to focus more on behavior rather than making physical commentary based on ethnicity. Those are some attributes they CAN’T help!)
Reason 2) They don’t want to be AMERICANS
They want America to be like THEM. It used to be that immigrants wanted to come to America to enjoy the lifestyle here. They would come to this country and adapt their lifestyle to their new environment. Indians come to America and expect everyone to cater to their every whim. The problem is that we, begrudgingly, change everything to make them happy — at the same time, sacrificing our way of life. Just for giggles, ask an Indian immigrant which is better, the USA or India. I would bet big that they would go on for awhile about how much better India is. Question: WHY DIDN’T YOU STAY THERE THEN?!?!?!?!?
Reason 3) They are inconsiderate.
I am mainly speaking about situations I have observed while shopping. In huge shopping market aisles, their families manage to take up the WHOLE aisle. Grandmother, grandfather, Uncle Sanji, and whoever else manage to stretch from one side of the aisle to the other. Since they take their grandparents with them, they tend to go very, very, VERY slowly. You might try to say, “excuse me.” They are usually too busy muttering to each other in their language to pay any attention to you or anyone else for that matter. An Indian’s only concern is its own interest. There is no desire for it to live in a socially decent world. Common courtesy means absolutely nothing.
Reason 4) The kids are brats
In public, the parents let them run around like the wild animals they are. In stores they pick stuff up, throw it around, put them down in the wrong place, and often times break them. Of course the parents don’t do the respectable thing and tell a store employee. They just leave it there for someone else to find. And the young Indian children skate around on their Heelys shoes. (These have seemingly gone out of style for other children, but not them.) Several times that I have been shopping, I have seen that the lazy verimin will hold onto the cart and the maternal unit will pull them on their skates. This is pretty bad, yes, but I would rather they be attached to a shopping cart then weaving from one side of the aisle to another. You have to make a serious effort to avoind running into them or them running into you. They maneuver their shoes just like their parents drive. Which brings me to the next reason…
Reason 5) They cannot drive.
In the past, Asians and women had been given the stereotype of being bad drivers. Well, Indians actually live out those stereotypes and more. They will cut you off and make crazy lane changes like women and Asians were supposedly doing. Also, they will cut right in front of you to go slower than the speed limit. They will change 3 lanes at a time with no signal. Yield or right of way mean absolutely nothing to them. If you see a minivan filled with a family of 9, make way. They don’t care about human beings using the roadway. It becomes even worse in a shopping center parking lot. Twice, I have been crossing on crosswalks and had to jump out of the way from them. They were cruising right in front of the store at around 30MPH. Just like I mentioned above, they have absolutely no concern for anyone else in the world. Their only concern is how they are going to get where they are going to go. Your safety and well-being do not factor into that equation.
Reason 6) Their clothes.
People have different attire all around the world. I understand that. In Scotland, it is traditional to wear kilts. In parts of Africa, men wear loincloths and women often go topless. Eskimos wear heavy fur coats. But, when these people move to the United States, they assimilate to the culture they have moved into. Why is it, then, that Indian women (and, yes, sometimes men) wear ratty old clothes from their country? We make, and import, pretty good clothes here in the U.S.. You can find shirts, pants, dresses, and skirts that are pretty attractive and functional. But, that is not good enough. Indians will wear only Indian clothes. These include the shirts that come down to the knee, which are worn by male and female members of the species. They include cheap looking pants that resemble scrubs from a doctor’s office. So, one may say that this is “tradition.” First of all, if you are going to wear something “traditional,” at least let it have some touch of class, not some cheap linen scrubs. I am of Scottish and Native American descent. Could I wear a kilt, headdress and face paint into a public place and expect anyone to take me seriously? Secondly, how long have they had these same clothes? I have been to Macy’s, JCPenny, and Target and have never scene this rubbish for sale. Maybe the problem is that they have had the same garments for so long, they build up a curry scent that can’t be washed out.

I could go on for several more hours as to why I hate them. If it were up to me, we should give them a free plane ticket back to their beautiful homeland that they so adore. We should keep some of them here though. We could keep them in a zoo. You can watch the zookeeper throw them scraps of curry. It would be a good education for children to see how primitive apes behaved.

Why I don’t like Indians: They can talk badly about their own friends and still hang out with them like they are best friends. They always try to dominate everyone around them and don’t know how to mind their own business. They are too controlling of everyone and always like to talk “like they are best things.” They can show care and concern, act like they are protecting you and helping you out, but are always trying to find different ways on how to manipulate and take advantage of you – You will find out when they back stab you in a couple of years after you had thought they were always your best friend. It doesn’t matter if they are from US, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, or India, they all behave the same way, it is socially ingrained into their culture. Indians will be Indians.

Whosoever hate Indians needs to get their brain checked up, yes I am an Indian, we people are extremely peaceful and non-ignorant, while Americans and British are among most racist. To be honest, yes I hate AMERICANS, but I love their accent in English. I work for customer care in reputed firm, so you guys would’ve better picture why I hate Americans, they barely stress their brains enough (Americans) but they’ve tendency to blame others for their own work. In World War II they showed enough politics (and still it is) and military power (on Japan) to show that they are superior, but in reality they’re not, they actually occupied a place that belongs to native Americans (Red Indians) that were so silent and peaceful, but in the end they crushed them to death.
Yes I hate Chinese people and their accent, god damn when they speak its like coins are being dropped from some height.
We have enough power (Military) to drop a Nuclear weapon at the United (frickin) Sates (place that doesn’t even belongs to them). If you ask me, I’ll slap 100 and count 1 on Americans because they do really deserve it.
I love Germans, and I’m proud to be an ARYAN too (Northern India). May be that’s why I hate Americans, because their blood is impure enough to conqueror world with such political power, which they don’t deserve at all.

The OF equation, according to O-high-and-mighty him, should be computed first. He claimed that’s “level 6 algebra”. I choked. Dear god! that’s LEVEL 6 Algebra in INDIA??????? First graders study that stuff in my country!!!!! Who the hell uses OF??? You don’t need to say “OF”— that’s why there is an MDAS RULE!!!!!!!!! (If you’re Indian, you probably wouldn’t get this–boo-hoo!)
To those who appreciate them, I say you probably haven’t dealt with them long enough. They have no breeding, no manners, they suck up the bosses, pretentious, extremely lazy (but quick to cover their asses when things get sticky), narrow-minded— and don’t get me started on their hygiene! (turning green at the thought)
But they shouldn’t be wiped out from the states– they should be wiped out from the rest of the world. They should not leave their country and just let the rest of live in peace. The world (definitely my workplace) will be a better place without them.
Have you been to Dubai? Jesus! Stay at least 2 months in Dubai and whatever appreciation you have of Indians will dissolve— I’ll probably see you back at this blog singing a different tune after then.

Look at their brighter side for instance…they’ll welcome you at homes, are easier to be friends with than some of the other nationalities…..Well, if you look at their -ve side, we all do have that as well, right? At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

Germany — Muslim 3.7%

Spain — Muslim 4%
Thailand — Muslim 4.6%
From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. I like maybe about 50 indians, but the rest are on my nerves, they are greedy and always for like 100 years they say this world is there world.
