Oh, before I get out of hand allow me to explain. I was reading an article on NST entitled “Do not blame men solely for violence against women”. I was mortified! Here was the wife of our deputy prime minister and supposedly a champion of Women. HAH! if any of her comments are to judged by, that female person does not have a brain between her ears. I take offense to several of her statements and I quote…
“women should know better than to walk alone in dark and deserted areas”
It is 100% the governments responsibility to ensure the safety and well being of the citizens. Thats why we elected the government in the first place. Not so that they can build palatial residences and satay restaurants on illegal land. But to protect us. And here goes the wife of the deputy prime minister saying that we have to fend for ourselves. Not everybody in this country has 5 bodyguards at all times. There are a majority of us, that actually work. Most of us at god awful hours. We have people to support. We have to walk from our offices, to the bus stand and take the bus at 11pm at night to go home! There are many many instances where that there are supposed to be sufficient lighting but YOUR government FAILED to maintain it! Do not ever pass the blame to the citizens who are working to make the country what it is for your FAILURE! And I mean ever! Geezus I am hopping MAD! There are no problems at all for drunk scantily clad girls to go home at 3am in Japan. And thats after walking through the city, getting on the train and walking in the suburbs (quiet and usually involves going through parks). Dont say that Japan is different because its your job to make it happen.
You know I suggest nobody ever invite this female (she doesnt deserve the word “women”) to any event that fights for women rights and well being. Another sore point is her admonishment
“You must remember, when you point to others, there are four other fingers pointing right back at you.”
Is she saying that women should not voice out their concerns because ultimately, its always their fault anyway? I say WHEN THERE IS A WRONG, SPEAK UP! There are some basic rights that every women must protect. The right to speak is one of them. Never let anybody tell you that what you feel and think doesn’t matter. Never let anybody ever convince you that you are inferior. Unfortunately, you are because of people like Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor whois betraying her very gender. She is supposed to fight for you. Not condemn all those poor victims of rape, harassment, sexual abuse and domestic violence. And you are at FAULT if you yourself do not fight. I am a man. I can only say so much. Do so much.
She added that women should dress decently to avoid attracting unwanted attention from dangerous men.
Her last comments summarizes it succintly. Its time for you to act if you care at all about your safety and rights as a women in Malaysia. Pass the word to everybody you know.

Malaysia is 10 million light years away from ever being a safe n wonderful country for a woman to survive in. Corruption is one point, utter stupidity coming from a high ranking wife is another, but the most important fact here that is missing is purely, EDUCATION! The most basic Pendidikan Moral is considered a farce among students anyway, what more can i say to that? Boys grow up not knowing or understanding a simple word, RESPECT to women folk – The bearer and giver of their child, and there are some lost poor women who subscribe to the boosting of men’s ego.
Ten of thousands of Datins out there spread their legs widely , or in some instances open their big, foot-laden mouth for their husbands obligingly as long as they lead a confortable and materialistic lifestyle, not once have I seen ONE of these priviledge kind stand up and fight for the women in this country. Maybe because it’s just pointless.
Educate the young well. Especially young girls. Give them a clue, as to spread their wings to other countries who protect women and child rights because as far as i know, Malaysia is one of the un-safest place in this world. For those who cant do so, well, join the rest of the us women on this earth…. as one voice – Survival. There’s a reason why women outnumber men, God IS A WOMAN! i’d like to quote Fredrick Douglas, Let’s celebrate WOMEN!

Anybody with a brain between their ears and know their rights to speak up their thoughts and stand up for their own just and safety would have disagreed with statements made by Datin Seri Rosmah. As pathetic as the person, she is. I wonder what was on her mind whilst she was making her comments. I guess the luxurious life she’s living in has turned her into a brainless old lady with an attitude of I-couldn’t-care-less-of-anything-else-except-money. Actually, I think this article is an eye-opener. Crimes against women and children alike happens all the time and when it does, all the criminal gets is prison sentence while the victims suffer permanent scar.
I assumed you are a male when you said you are a man and I thank you for at least returning a small piece of dignity to the women folk. Violence against women and children alike should not be tolerated nor does wearing revealing outfits are the faults of women getting raped.
I truly agree with your statement that as leaders of a nation, it is not only about economic development or policies and the likes. It is about caring the people who have supported them. These leaders have to be grateful to the people and vice-versa because without both, there wouldnt be a nation.
It is very irksome to see really really closed minded people like the Hulubalang gentlemen who have to pry on petty racial issues instead of focusing on the issues mentioned.

They have to pay RM100 per semester for the internet usage. This is really taking advantage on the students and their families. They really make a lot of money out of everything in the UNISEL. The internet fee should should be reduced. Students who stays outside hardly use the internet facility. For people like DS Rosmah,RM100 is just for her breakfast but to the students and families they really struggle to get money to pay for the fees. Make a survey and you will find out how many students is still owing their previous semester fees. Tq for providing place to study but please think of charging a considerate amount of fees.

Kalian yang dihormati , sekali lagi saya ingin membawa perhatian kepada kalian yang dihormati supaya jangan kita cuba mencemarkan nama seseorang tanpa kita kenali.
Biarlah negara ini menjadi aman dengan kepimpinan Dato Najib bersama dengan Datin Rosmah, apa salahnya.
Sekiranya anda semua menggapkan diri anda terlalu pandai dan bijak , lalu boleh melindungi keselamatan negara ini , kenapa anda tidak berbuat demikian , kerana kita perlu arif bahawa “Perlantikan Ketua Negara” adalah kehendak tuhan , siapa kita nak lawan tuhan dan memburukkan nama seorang wanita.
Ibu kitapun adalah wanita , adakah sentiasa beliau dapat menyelamatkan kita daripada kesusahan , adakah 24 jam beliau boleh memantau kita , memang tak boleh , kerana beliau pun mempunyai tanggujawap – tanggujawap yang lain dalam menjaga keluarga kita tapi beliau masih menyayangkan anda.
Begitu juga Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, bukannya kita terus melemparkan beliau tak betul , kerana kerajaan memang mencuba membanteras jenayah bukan tak cuba , begitulah pemimpin – pemimpin kita mencuba membanteras jenayah tidak kira parti BN ataupun Parti PKR , wawasan semua adalah sama.
Jadi bersama – samalah kita menyahut serta menyokong bakal Perdana Menteri baru (Dato Seri Najib dan Isterinya Datin Seri Rosmah) , amanlah negara kita dengan kepimpinan beliau.
Biarlah kita memberi peluang , dan lihat kemungkinan perkembangan besar boleh berlaku.

come March, Najib will be PM. We will be listening to a lot of his wife’s ideas.
Put it simple lah. She’s a bit of a donkey. So be prepared to filter all the dumb stuff and take only the good (if there is any).
As for safety, YES, MALAYSIA is SO FREAKING UNSAFE. KIDS GET KILLED JUST GOING TO THE PLAYGROUND IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. Governments failure? Yes it is. So, I guess I’ll have to keep an extra eye on my kids, and myself too. All you ladies ought to as well, as the lady boss has admitted that her hubby’s soon-to be government is not doing much about it anyway.

I agree without any reservations on the comments made by our future First Lady of Malaysia.Malaysian women generally need a couple of slaps to keep them in order.I see nothing wrong in the comments made-I think its educational,instructive and constructive advice to all women in Malaysia-in particularly women of Muslim faith.I have not included the infidels as they are not citizens of Malaysia.But I hope that the public will take cognizance of the fact that these are the new policies that will be forthcoming with the new leadership of YB Najib.

I personally met her and spoken to her on few occassions. She more intelligent and street smart than you ( those who wrote the above condemning comments and the same goes for the author of this blog )
I see more the air of jealousy from all of you who don’t have a chance to be close to her and speak to her.
Shame on you. How can you speak such words of a lady who’s the wife of Msian Prime Minister.
Have a life and make use of your life to better yourself instead of condemning others.

I am sure she would be very knowledgeable about couture and culinary since she would have access to the very best. I am of the opinion that everybody is really smart at something. but in the case of being a leader for women… i would say not very smart at all
